I’ve spent nearly two decades working within Mackay Regional Council in the construction and maintenance department.

I understand the challenges faced by both urban and rural communities, because I’ve worked in them—not just visited them.

I’m the only candidate with hands-on experience delivering the very services Council oversees every day.

I’ve seen where things run well—and where they can be improved from a strategic level to better serve our region.

I live on acreage in Sarina with my family, am the President of a local horse club, and an active member of our community.

In 2021, I was honoured to receive the Australia Day Senior Sports Award for my community involvement and achievements.
While others are learning how Council works—I’ve lived it.
I’m running because I believe in real representation, and that means having someone at the table who knows how to get things done.

I’ve worked across this entire region during my 18 years with Council’s construction and maintenance teams. I know the roads, I know the challenges, and I know how often these outlying communities feel overlooked.

I want to bring the voices of our rural and outlying communities back to the table. These areas often feel overlooked, yet they are the lifeblood of our region.
Smart, Transparent Spending
With inside knowledge of Council operations, I know where efficiencies can be found and where costs can be better controlled. Ratepayers deserve transparency and value for every dollar spent.
Strategic, Not Political
My focus is on the long-term needs of our community, better roads, smart development, and support for families and local industry.
Community-Driven Decisions
I want residents to feel empowered and included, not shut out of decisions that affect their streets, their services, and their future.
